About me-

I am an 18 year old ultra-marathoner who got into the sport by a mix of a bad cross country coach, reading about Dean Karnazes in runners world and a life changing event in where my friend was diagnosed with cancer and I ran 3000 miles to raise 16,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to assist him. Now that I am hooked into the sport, I am looking for bigger and bigger things to do (though I am trying to remain cautious as ever about injury as I want to be a contender in this sport well into my 50’s). I’ll run unmotivated by winning or bragging rights, I’ll run things just to say that I’ve done them, I don’t care if the race is official or not, if it’s just me and a friend on a bike and it’s something challenging likeliness is that I am down.
